Pasadena police arrest 29-year-old man on suspicion of felony, hit and run

A 29-year-old man has been taken into custody by the Pasadena cops for getting involved in a hit-and-run collision. The incident occurred early Thursday morning. The suspect was trying to escape when he was arrested.

According to Lt. Mark Goodman, the incident occurred around 12:12 a.m.

A 39-year-old woman, who is a Studio City resident, sustained non-life threatening injuries in the accident. She explained how the suspect looked like which assisted the cops in taking the suspect into custody. The man was located by the cops going northbound on foot on Orange Grove from the scene of the accident.

He was detained without incident.

Goodman added, “We responded to the area of Colorado and Orange Grove in regards to a report of a hit-and-run collision. Upon arrival, officers found the victim suffering from a wrist injury.”

He further said, “The suspect was subsequently arrested for felony hit and run and he was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. He also sustained injuries in the collision, was transported to a local hospital for treatment and then subsequently booked in the city jail for felony DUI and felony hit and run.”
